Our Story

We’re a husband-and-wife team who have spent the last 20 years growing up, growing together, and building a family we’re incredibly proud of. We married in 2013, welcomed three amazing kids into the world, and like many parents, we poured our energy into raising them… but didn’t always take care of ourselves.

For years, we lived what we thought was “normal”—busy schedules, unhealthy habits, low energy, and the constant feeling that we’d take care of ourselves later. But as our kids grew, we started thinking more about the future. We wanted to be present for them—really present. We wanted to have the energy to play with them, the health to keep up with them, and the longevity to watch them grow into the incredible people they’re becoming.

So we made a decision: our kids deserved parents who were truly living, not just surviving.

We committed to eating better, moving our bodies, and breaking the cycle of unhealthy routines. We didn’t transform overnight. It was slow, steady, and imperfect at times—but the small victories added up. We began to feel stronger, happier, more confident, and more connected as a family.

And somewhere along this journey, we realized something important:

If we could do this—after years of being unhealthy, busy, and exhausted—other parents could too.

That’s why we created Path to Fitness.
This site is our way of giving back, sharing what we’ve learned, and encouraging other parents to start their own journey. We’re not fitness models, trainers, or perfect athletes—we’re a real couple with real kids and real struggles. And we’re here to show that it’s never too late to choose health, strength, and a better future for your family.
